Company Background


Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate information is updated to the Bursa Announcement reports.
  • Ensure timely submission of all reports by GL and are posted to the consolidation template.
  • Preparation of sub-group consolidated financial statement with notes to accounts.
  • Assist in preparation of recurrent related party transaction report to Group Internal Audit timely and accurately.
  • Prepare templates and ensure Business Units (BU) receive the information required for reports. Prepare analysis on financial performance of the Group.
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor the annual statutory audit of the Group to ensure smooth conduct of annual statutory audits.
  • Manage external audit process to ensure timely resolution of audit issues and completion of audit.
  • Drafting of statutory financial statements of the Group and sub-group, and review of subsidiary companies statutory accounts to relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Keep abreast of changes in the financial reporting standards and establish internal processes and procedures in incorporating the changes in the internal and external reporting system.
  • Liaison with business units, finance shared services and external parties to ensure timely and quality preparation of Group consolidated accounts.
  • Perform ad-hoc operational/ due diligence review as and when requested.
  • Review and re-access the existing process flows to identify areas for improvements and productivity efficiency.
  • Streamlining/ Improvement of processes within Group Consolidation and Board/ Management/ Statutory Reporting.
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Commerce or equivalent.
  • At least 3 - 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • MS Office skill is a MUST.
  • Consolidation knowledge and experience is a MUST.
  • Candidate with audit exposure is strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Hardworking, willing to learn, able to work under tight deadline & pressure.
